SRI SURYANI

Born on May 15th 1989 in Jakarta, Sri considers herself as an outgoing person who loves to think and contribute. After 18 years enjoying urban life in Jakarta, she moved to Bandung to study Architecture in Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). For four years and half, she learnt alot about architecture design and studies, and creative thinking. After graduated in 2012, she joined Center for Urban Design Studies (PSUD) to find her passion in urban design and development. She continued her master in The Bartlett Faculty of Built Environment in University College London, focusing in housing policy and urban development. After graduation, she joined Ciliwung Merdeka, a community-based organization who facilitates marginalized community facing risk of eviction in Jakarta. Her field of research ranges in invetigating dwelling culture and participatory process in housing development.

In the leisure time, she enjoys traveling to meet new people to find new home and put the story into writing and sketches.
